Flights
Our guests plan their own flights and book through their own airlines or travel agents. They typically arrive at Puerto Plata airport which is located a very short distance (10 minutes drive) from Casa 21.
From the United States:
Besides one-stop connections from nearly every airport in the country, there are approximately 20 airports with non-stop service to the Dominican Republic. Some of them are year-round, but some are seasonal. Carriers include, but are not limited to American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue, Seaborne Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and United Airlines.
Puerto Plata, La Romana, Santiago and Santo Domingo are mainly served from Boston, Miami, and New York.
From Canada:
Approximately 20 airports in Canada offer non-stop services to the Dominican Republic.
Puerto Plata has direct flights from Halifax, Hamilton, Montreal, Quebec City, St. John’s, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Toronto.

The airport of Puerto Plata is only 10 minutes drive and before you realize you are enjoying a welcoming drink. There is also the possibility to take a taxi yourself and they charge about 39 USD for the ride. For your information our taxi driver charges the same amount.
Punta Cana is about 8 hours drive, Santo Domingo is 4 hours, Santiago is 1 hour and 30 minutes and Puerto Plata city is 25 minutes drive from Sosua. If you will be flying into Santiago or Santo Domingo you have different options to get to Sosua : by rental car, by taxi, by Metro bus or Caribe bus.
